Invite your students to be part of the solution
for a chance for rewards and recognition!
This simple, authentic animated video series was created from student drawings and writing, which poignantly provides insight into how painful bullying can feel, but also touchingly shows that kids want it to stop and want to be part of the solution.
How it works...
Step 1. Watch the video(s), then hold a classroom discussion using the suggested questions, which are provided with each video.
Step 2. Using the entry form, encourage students to write poetry or stories, create a drawing, or design a graphic (or even film a video) responding to the themes portrayed in the videos including, but not limited to:
Sharing what it means to be together against bullying
Describing how to be kind, supportive, and helpful to other students
Ways to help others feel like they belong and know that they aren’t alone
How to celebrate the differences that makes each person unique.
Step 3. The images and writing can be scanned and emailed to bullying411@PACER.org (videos accepted too) or mailed to PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center, 8161 Normandale Blvd. Bloomington, MN 55437.
Receive awards and recognition
Four classrooms will be awarded LilGadget headphones for every student along with a pizza party! Additional awards include: books, DuckTape rolls and medals!
